Effective August 5, 2026
This policy explains what Hypocrisy Democracy (operated by AnyTech Solutions, LLC, "we") collects when you visit https://hypocrisydemocracy.net, why, and what control you have. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than boilerplate.
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-NJVB3WCY38), which sets cookies and records approximate location, IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, time on page, and the site that referred you. We also record two custom events: when you click one of our promotional cards, and when you begin a newsletter signup. We use this to understand which content is worth producing more of.
The site does not accept file uploads from visitors and has no user accounts.
We do not ask for payment details, government identifiers, or account passwords. There are no user accounts on this site.
Each operates under its own privacy policy, which we do not control.
Cookies on this site come from Google Analytics and from the third-party embeds listed above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use private browsing, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works fine with cookies disabled — you may lose the market ticker and embedded videos. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where our providers support them.
Wherever you live, you may ask us what personal data we hold about you and ask us to delete it. If you are in California, the CCPA/CPRA gives you rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sale" or "sharing" — we do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it. If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection; our lawful basis is legitimate interest for analytics and consent for the newsletter.
Make any request through the contact page. We respond as promptly as we can, and within the timeframes the applicable law requires. Newsletter data lives with Substack, so deletion requests for your subscription are fastest through the unsubscribe link in any email.
This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
The site is served over HTTPS and deployments run over encrypted FTPS. No website can promise perfect security, and we do not.
If this policy changes materially we will update the effective date above and post the revised version here.
